Holly Dickhausen

Hello, my name is Holly Dickhausen. I'm a Licensed Massage Therapist, specializing in Deep Tissue Massage, Injury Rehabilitation, Medical Massage, and Shiatsu. I graduated from Denver School of Massage Therapy in March of 2007, and have been on a mission since then to help people through Massage Therapy. My passion began when I received Massage Therapy for a childhood neck injury. I was told that it would get better with time, but when left untreated for several years, the injury caused me to develop TMJD, Thoracic Outlet Syndrome and "Frozen Shoulder". If I had been advised to receive treatment sooner, I could have avoided years of unnecessary pain and expense. The bright side is this led me to my career. I can really help people with head, neck and shoulder pain, because I literally know just how you feel! When I was better, I knew that Massage had changed my life in ways I never expected, and I want it to change yours!

I am able to provide any type of massage you may need. I do not have a routine massage. Every session is different depending on what you tell me in our pre-massage conversation and what your body tells me during the massage. Many of my clients come to me for "a thorough massage". Whether you need light pressure or really deep, I will maximize your massage time by focusing on getting results. Relaxation, postural correction or something different, like Chakra Balancing, are all things I can provide for you.

I recently studied Advanced Techniques for Medical Massage. I am now able to more affectively help people with Soft Tissue Injury or Dysfunction such as Whiplash, Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, Sciatic Pain, and TMJD, just to name a few. I am really looking forward to helping people to recover and get back to their life!

Learning more about bodywork is one of passions, but my true love(s) are my husband and three sons. Needless to say they keep me very busy! We have a blast doing all that there is to do in Steamboat. We all consider ourselves to be very fortunate to live here, and appreciate the diversity and beauty it has to offer.
